InkPlace terms

InkPlace provides tattoo planning, artist discovery, professional profiles, marketplace communication, and booking-related tools. TaCo is the AI Tattoo Concierge within InkPlace.

InkPlace is not a tattoo artist, medical provider, legal advisor, insurer, or guarantor of an artist’s work, availability, estimate, or outcome.

Users must provide accurate account information, protect their credentials, and use the service only for lawful marketplace activity. Role-based areas may be limited to customers, artists, studio managers, or administrators.

The Jacksonville pilot is for adults age 18 or older in the United States. Creating an account or using booking and payment tools confirms that you meet that requirement and can enter these terms.

Harassment, fraud, impersonation, unsafe content, unauthorized images, attempts to bypass access controls, and misuse of another person’s creative work are prohibited.

TaCo outputs and concept directions are planning aids and inspiration references, not tattoo-ready designs, medical advice, or guaranteed statements of feasibility. Users must review AI-assisted content before relying on or sharing it.

Artists remain responsible for final composition, technical adaptation, tattoo design, professional advice, and any artist-approved communication sent through the service.

Artist recommendations are based on eligibility and practical fit, but customers remain responsible for reviewing portfolios, verification labels, policies, proposals, and consultation information.

Artists choose whether to pursue an opportunity and are responsible for the accuracy of profiles, portfolio ownership, proposal terms, availability, and professional credentials.

Booking terms may record price, deposits, fees, payout context, cancellation terms, and refund requests. Stripe processes pilot payments and payout onboarding under its own terms and privacy notice. A payment is complete only after Stripe confirms it.

InkPlace is not an escrow service. During the pilot, InkPlace charges no application fee and the artist receives the full deposit amount before Stripe processing fees, which InkPlace absorbs. This pilot pricing may change only after updated terms and fee disclosures are presented.

Artist cancellation and refund policies must be presented before payment. A customer can request a documented refund through the booking record; approval and timing can depend on the disclosed policy, applicable law, dispute review, and Stripe processing. Chargebacks, fraud, and payment disputes may result in account limits while records are reviewed.

Customers may purchase non-expiring AI usage through one-time packages. Before a paid AI request, InkPlace discloses a maximum reservation. The final deduction is based on the configured provider cost and service multiplier and will not exceed that reservation. Failed, moderated, or unsaved requests release the reservation.

Artist Pro and Studio subscriptions pay for professional platform access, not customer AI usage. Studio plans include three active artist seats; additional capacity is sold in two-seat blocks. Pending invitations reserve seats. Individual artists covered by an active studio seat do not also need Artist Pro.

Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. A seven-day failed-payment grace period may apply before discovery and new marketplace actions are paused. Prior conversations, bookings, disputes, safety obligations, and required records remain available as appropriate.

Promotions may be limited by package, user, first purchase, date, redemption count, or subscription duration. Self-service refunds are not offered for used AI balances. InkPlace support may refund an entirely unused purchase and reverse its grant; partial or exceptional requests require support review.

Tattooing carries health, healing, allergy, infection, permanence, and outcome risks. Customers should discuss medical or skin concerns with a qualified medical professional and follow the selected artist or studio’s informed-consent and aftercare process.

Artists and studios remain independently responsible for licensing, sanitation, consent, age verification, professional services, and compliance with rules that apply to their work. An InkPlace verification label is not a health or outcome guarantee.

Users retain their rights in content they submit and grant InkPlace the limited permission needed to store, display, process, moderate, and transmit it for the requested service. Uploading content does not transfer ownership of an artist’s work to another user.

InkPlace may update the service, moderate content, limit activity, suspend accounts, or preserve records when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, marketplace integrity, or dispute handling. Material term changes should be presented with an updated effective date.

Users can stop using the service and request access to or deletion of eligible account data from Account and privacy. Some booking, payment, fraud-prevention, safety, tax, or dispute records may be retained when reasonably required.
