Privacy at InkPlace

InkPlace stores account details, role and profile information, tattoo-project briefs, customer references, artist portfolios, marketplace proposals, messages, consultation and booking records, feedback, and security-related session information needed to operate the service.

Payment onboarding and transactions can include Stripe account, Checkout, payment, charge, refund, transfer-status, and webhook identifiers. InkPlace does not store full card numbers or bank-account credentials.

AI-assisted activity may retain the relevant prompt version, provider and model identifiers, structured output, moderation result, failure record, and usage metadata.

Paid AI records include wallet grants, reservations, settlements, releases, provider token or image usage, configured cost calculations, and the order that funded a balance. Generated inspiration images are stored privately and shared through short-lived authorized links.

We use information to provide customer planning, artist discovery, eligibility and matching, proposals, messaging, booking records, notifications, artist tools, support, safety review, and service improvement.

We also use limited records to prevent fraud and abuse, reconcile deposits and refunds, investigate disputes, enforce marketplace rules, and document operator decisions.

InkPlace does not expose raw internal matching scores to customers. Artist recommendations are presented with factual explanations.

Tattoo projects begin private. A customer chooses when to publish, who may respond, and what personal information is visible. Eligible artists receive only the project context permitted by those settings.

Artist profiles and approved portfolio items are public when the artist publishes them. Verification and apprenticeship labels reflect the recorded status rather than an implied approval.

InkPlace shares the information required for connected-account onboarding, payment processing, payouts, refunds, fraud prevention, and compliance with Stripe. Service providers that host infrastructure, deliver email, store files, or process AI requests receive only the information needed for their role.

When paid TaCo features are enabled, relevant project context and prompts are sent to the configured AI provider to produce the requested response or image. InkPlace records provider identifiers and usage needed to meter the request, investigate failures, and reconcile the customer balance.

Customers should upload only references they are permitted to share. Artists confirm permission before publishing portfolio work and approve suggested classifications. InkPlace does not use artist portfolios to train custom models without explicit permission.

InkPlace uses role checks, ownership-scoped data access, protected sessions, rate limits, private-by-default projects, and restricted file handling. No system can promise absolute security.

Records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to operate the account, document marketplace and booking activity, meet safety and fraud-prevention obligations, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable requirements. Retention can differ by record type and an operator documents exceptions during a deletion request.

You can edit project details and profile information through the product. Visibility remains under customer or artist control where the interface provides it. Signed-in users can create a tracked data-access or deletion request from Account and privacy.
