Do I need to know my tattoo style first?
No. Start with the subject, feeling, references, or story. TaCo can help identify useful style language while leaving the final recommendation to an artist.
When does an artist see my idea?
Your project begins private. You review its details, references, visibility, and personal-information settings before explicitly publishing a request.
Does InkPlace guarantee a price?
No. Proposals can include an estimate range, but the final price may depend on scale, placement, detail, sessions, consultation, and the artist’s policies.
Can I find an artist in my city today?
Use artist discovery to browse approved profiles by style, location, and practical fit. City pages and action screens show any local limits on new marketplace requests.
How does customer AI pricing work?
AI usage is purchased in one-time packages rather than a subscription. Balances do not expire, chat and inspiration images draw from the same balance, and the pricing page shows current package amounts and bonuses.
Artists
Is InkPlace a bidding platform?
No. Matching and proposals emphasize artistic compatibility, relevant work, experience, availability, location, and approach—not who submits the lowest number.
Does TaCo send proposals for me?
No. TaCo may help prepare a draft, but the artist reviews the project, selects relevant portfolio work, approves the language, and sends the proposal.
Who controls portfolio classifications?
The artist does. InkPlace may suggest style or subject tags, but they must be reviewed and approved before publishing.
What does Artist Pro cost?
Artists can build a private profile for free. Artist Pro adds public discovery, new opportunities, and proposal access unless an active studio subscription covers the artist. The pricing page shows the current monthly price.
How are studio seats priced?
Studio plans include a published number of active artist seats and can add capacity in recurring seat blocks. Pending artist invitations reserve capacity, and the pricing page shows the current plan and seat-block amounts.
TaCo and trust
Is TaCo the name of the platform?
InkPlace is the platform. TaCo—short for Tattoo Concierge—is the AI assistant within InkPlace.
Are TaCo concepts tattoo-ready designs?
No. They are inspiration and communication references. The tattoo artist creates and technically adapts the final design.
How are artists recommended?
InkPlace first checks eligibility such as preferences, geography, availability, and project constraints, then explains relevant fit in plain language. Raw internal scores are not shown.
